    Gravitation Class 11 is an important chapter, many topics will be based on Ch 8 Phy Class 11 and it is scoring one as well. The chapter 8 NCERT Physics 11 – Gravitation, explains about gravitational forces and their interactions in Introduction part. It elaborates how kepler’s law behaves and its impact. We will learn three laws of kepler and understand about gravitational forces and theory in different planets. We will also study the famous Newton’s theory and understand the Universal Law of Gravitation. The gravitational constant is the proportionality constant used in Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation and we will study different aspects and theory in-depth as well. From this chapter, we will also understand the acceleration due to the gravitational force of the Earth and its surface. It explains the concept related to change in weight due to change in force and escape speed. Further, we will also study about Gravitational Potential Energy, which states that Gravitational potential energy is the energy an object possesses because of its position in a gravitational field. Escape speed is defined as the minimum speed with which a mass needs to be propelled from the earth’s surface to escape earth’s gravity. Further, this segment covers information about the satellite, geostationary and polar. We will also learn the energy exhibited from an orbiting satellite. At the end concept of weightlessness, will provide an understanding of the concept of weight and absence of same as well.
